INDIAN NAVY notification for Officers Entry 2013

INDIAN NAVY are invited applications from unmarried candidates who fulfill eligibility condition of Nationality as laid down by the Government of India for grant of Short Service Commission (SSC) in Executive and Technical Branches of the Indian Navy under University Entry Scheme (UES), for course commencing June 2014.

Note: Candidates in their last semester (i.e. eighth semester) or who have already completed BE/ B. Tech Degree need not apply.

Age limit: 19 to 24 years (i.e. born between 02 Jul 1990 to 01 Jul 1995 both dates inclusive).

Pay scale & Promotion: Promotion from Sub-Lieutenant to Commander is on time scale basis subject to fulfillment of requisite service conditions. The Pay Scale and promotion criteria are as follows.

How to apply:

1. Eligible candidates should apply through only in online from INDIAN NAVY career website, www.nausena-bharti.nic.in or click the following link below.

2. Now click the "Apply now" button.

3. And then read the instructions and Click "Proceed" button. 

4. And Fill the form carefully follow by the given instructions in the application form.

5. After submitting the form, an ‘Application Number’ will be generated by the system and displayed on the screen. Take the printout of the system generated form.

6. Print a copy of this Application Form having the system generated Application Number. The copy of this application form is to be submitted to the Campus Selection Team of Indian Navy at the time of campus interview.

Note: candidates may be eligible for more than one branch/cadre yet they have to submit only one application and mention priority at para 2 of Application Format. If candidate has submitted Duplicate application, his candidature will be cancelled at any stage of selection process.

Selecation Processor: The eligible candidates applying for the entry will have to appear before a Naval Campus Selection Team for interview. The candidates qualifying the campus interview will be shortlisted for SSB interview on the basis of his/her preference for the entry, subject to meeting the eligibility criteria for particular entry. The final selection of Branch/Cadre will be decided by IHQ-MoD(Navy) depending on number of vacancies in particular Branch/Cadre.
