The next Common Written Examination for RRBs (RRBs- CWE-II) for recruitment of Group-“A”-Officers (Scale-I , II & III) and Group-“B”-Office Assistants (Multipurpose) will be conducted online by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) tentatively in September/ October 2013.

This system of Common Examination for recruitment of Officers and Office Assistants (Multipurpose) has been approved by the Government of India, notified by NA BARD and has the mandate of each of the RRBs.

The notification of RRBs Examination details given below. Candidates should carefully read and apply for the exam.

Eligibility Criteria: As on 01-07-2013.

Nationality: A candidate must be either -
                                   (i) a Citizen of India or
                                   (ii) a subject of Nepal or
                                   (iii) a subject of Bhutan or
                                   (iv) a Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962        with the intention of permanently settling in India.

Age limit: 
For Officer Scale- III- Above 21 years - Below 40 years i.e. candidates should not have been born earlier than 03.07.1973 and later than 30.06.1992 (both dates inclusive).
For Officer Scale- II- Above 21 years - Below 32 years i.e. candidates should not have been born earlier than 03.07.1981 and later than 30.06.1992 (both dates inclusive).
For Officer Scale- I- Above 18 years - Below 28 years i.e. candidates should not have been born earlier than 03.07.1985 and later than 30.06.1995 (both dates inclusive).
For Office Assistant (Multipurpose) - Between 18 years and 28 years i.e. candidates should have not been born earlier than 02.07.1985 and later than 01.07.1995 (both dates inclusive).

Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. Preference will be given to the candidates having degree in Banking, Finance, Marketing, Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics and Accountancy.
Two years as an officer in a Bank or Financial Institution.
Officer Scale-II Specialist Officers
Information Technology Officer Degree from a recognised University in Electronics / Communication / Computer Science / Information Technology or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. Desirable: Certificate in ASP, PHP, C++, Java, VB, VC, OCP etc.

Chartered Accountant Certified Associateship (CA) from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India

Law Officer Degree from a recognised University in Law or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.
Two years as an advocate or should have worked as Law Officer in Banks or Financial Institutions for a period not less than two years.
Treasury Manager Certified Associateship (CA) from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or MBA in Finance from a recognized university/ institution.

Marketing Officer MBA in Marketing from a recognized university

Agricultural Officer Degree in Agriculture/ Horticulture/ Dairy/ Animal Husbandry/ Forestry/ Veterinary Science/ Agricultural Engineering/ Pisciculture from a recognized university or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.

Officer Scale III
Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. Preference will be given to the candidates having Degree/ Diploma in Banking, Finance, Marketing, Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing and Co-operation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics and Accountancy.
Minimum 5 years experience as an Officer in a Bank or Financial Institutions.

Application Fee: For SC/ST/PWD/EXSM - Rs. 100/-
                             For others - Rs. 600/-
Note: Bank Transaction charges for Offline/ Online Payment of fees/ intimation charges will have to be borne by the candidate.

How to apply:
1. Eligible candidates should register through online only. By clicking on Application form link below or through IBPS website http://www.ibps.in/.
2. After opening the application form, fill the form with correct information.
3. Before clicking on the "submit" button, verify once again the total form. when you confirm about your given information,then press SUBMIT button.
4. When you complete the payment of application fee then you will get the Registration no. and password. You keep those with you for future use.

Processor of Payment Fee:
For online payment - (i) While you filling the application form, you must choose online payment in mode of payment, (ii) After submit the form, you will select payment option (debit or credit card or Internet banking) which you want to do. (iii) After successful of payment application fee, then you will get the computer generated Registration no. and Password.

For Offline payment - (i) While you filling the form, you choose the CBS payment option. (ii) after submission form, you will get the system generated e-challan form, take printout of the e-challan. (iii) You can pay the fee in 7 public sector bank by challan (Bank of Baroda, Bank of India, Bank of Maharashtra, Central Bank of India, Indian Overseas Bank, Punjab National Bank, United Bank of India)
Note: The CBS challan payments are accepted at the bank branches on 2nd working day of submission of application form.
