Scale of pay:
1. Professor: PB-4, Rs.37,400 – 67,000/- + AGP Rs. 10,000/-
2. Associate Professor: PB-4, Rs.37,400 – 67,000/- + AGP Rs. 9,000/-
3. Assistant Professor: PB-3, Rs.15,600 – 39,100/- + AGP Rs. 8,000 / Rs.7,000 / Rs. 6,000/-
Qualification and Age limit:
For Professor - Ph.D , Age not applicable.
For Associate Professor - Ph.D, Age not applicable.
For Assistant Professor - Ph.D, Age not applicable.
For Assistant Professor (on contract) - M.E. / M.Tech, Age below 30 years.
Experience:
For Professor - 10 Years after Ph.D or 13 Years (not counting Ph.D enrolment period) in total out of which 7 years to be after Ph.D including 3 years at Associate Professor level.
For Professor - 10 Years after Ph.D or 13 Years (not counting Ph.D enrolment period) in total out of which 7 years to be after Ph.D including 3 years at Associate Professor level.
For Associate Professor - 6 Years after Ph.D or 9 Years in total (not counting Ph.D enrolment period) out of which 3 years should be after Ph.D and as Assistant Professor or equivalent in a reputed Institute / Industry / R&D Laboratory.
For Assistant Professor - 3 years after Ph.D or 6 years in total (not counting Ph.D enrolment period) after obtaining M.E. / M.Tech.
For Assistant Professor (on contract) - Nill

2. Fill the form with correct information and attach your recent photocopy to the form.
3. The filled in application should be accompanied by the application fee of Rs. 600/-(Rs.300/- in case of SC/ST candidates) in the form of Crossed Demand Draft drawn in favour of “The Director, National Institute of Technology Nagaland” payable at the Chumukedima, Dimapur from any Nationalized Bank.
4. Self attested copies of certificates, mark sheets, testimonials etc., should be attached with the application and the originals must be produced at the time of interview and at the time of joining, if selected.
5. Please mention the Post Applied and Department on the left-top corner of the envelope containing the application. Separate applications are to be submitted for each Post and Department.
6. 6. The completed application and summary sheet in all respects along with photocopies of certificates, list of publications and the prescribed application fee should reach to the address below by speed post on or before 03-07-2013 by 5:00 p.m. Applications received after the last date (due to Postal / Courier delay) will not be considered.
