UPSC is now inviting applications for the post of Assistant Commandants in Central Armed Police Force (CAPF), Government of India. Female candidates should also be eligible for the CAPF Examination.

Assistant Commandants in - Border Security Force (BSF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP).
No. of vacancies: TOTAL= 424 vacancies (BSF-110, CPRF-138, CISF-56, ITBP-120)
Important dates:
Date of notification - 6th July, 2013
Last date of online application submission - 5th August, 2013.
Written exam will be held on - 20th October, 2013.
Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification: Candidates must hold Bachelor's Degree of any University by an act of central or State legislature in India. Or Possess an equivalent qualification. Candidate who are qualifying in the year of 2013 will also be eligible to the examination.
Age limit: 20 to 25 years (as on 1st August 2013)
Application fee: Rs. 200/- (Need not to pay fee for Female/SC/ST candidates)
How to Apply:
1. Candidates who are intend to apply for the exam, please click on the upsc link below.
2. Click on the "part 1 registration" and fill the form. And go to Part-2 registration form and fill it and submit. (Follow the instructions in Apendix-2 of Notification)
3. You can pay the fee by mode of direct pay the cash in SBI banks.
4. Candidates before filling the application they must scan their recent photograph and signature. And each file should not exceed 40kb not less than 3kb.
