Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan are inviting applications for the posts of Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) and Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) posts in Government Sector schools. Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS), henceforth mentioned as KVS, an autonomous organization under the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India invites Online applications from Indian Citizens for recruitment to the Teaching and Miscellaneous Teaching posts for the years 2012-13 and 2013-14.

Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) [Group B]:
Educational qualification:
1. Two years integrated Post Graduate M.Sc Course of Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject.
2. B.Ed or equivalent degree from recognized University.
3. Proficiency in teaching in Hindi and English media.
4. B.E or B.Tech (Computer Science/ IT) from a recognized University or equivalent Degree or Diploma from an institution/ university recognised by the Govt. of India.
5. At-least 50% marks in aggregate in any of the following:- Master Degree in Bio-Technology/ Genetics/Microbiology/Life Science/ Bio Science/Bio-Chemistry.
Age limit: Max. 40 years (As on 28-08-2013)
Pay Scale: Rs. 9300 to Rs. 34,800 + Grade pay Rs. 4800/-
Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) [Group B]:
Educational qualification:
1. Four years’ integrated degree course of Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate.
2. Pass in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET), conducted by CBSE in accordance with the Guidelines framed by the NCTE for the purpose.
3. Proficiency in teaching in Hindi and English medium.
4. Five years’ recognized Diploma in Drawing and Painting/ Sculpture/Graphic Art or Equivalent recognized Degree.
5. Three years Diploma after Higher Secondary in Electrical. Electronics Engineering from an institution recognized by State Govt./ Govt. of India.
6. Graduate in Electrical or Electronics Engineering from a recognised University.
Age limit: Max. 35 years (As on 28-08-2013)
Pay scale: Rs. 9300 to Rs. 34,800 + Grade pay Rs. 4600/-
Miscellaneous Teaching posts (Group B):
Age limit: Max. 30 years in Primary & Music teachers and Max. 35 years in Librarian.
Pay scale: For librarian - Rs. 9300 to Rs. 34,800 + Grade pay Rs. 4600/-
For primary & Music - Rs. 9300 to Rs. 34,800 + Grade pay Rs. 4200/-
