Pay scale: PGT - Rs. 9300-34800 (Grade Pay Rs.4800)
TGT - Rs. 9300-34800 (Grade Pay Rs.4600)
Educational qualification:
Post Graduate Teacher (PGT): Two Year Integrated Post Graduate M.Sc. Course from Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate.
Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT): Four years integrated degree course of Regional College of Education of NCERT with at least 50% marks in the concerned subject as well as in the aggregate.
Upper age limit (As on 31.01.2013): PGT - 40 years.
TGT - 35 years.

Application fee: Rs. 500/- + Rs. 60/-(for bank service charges)
Take printout of 'Fee Payment Challan', and go to nearest Branch of UNION BANK OF INDIA with the Fee Payment Challan. Pay in Cash, the appropriate Application Fee, in favour of Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti.
** No Application fee for SC/ST/PH candidates.
